One day later, it has emerged that Rahul's statement wasonly a small part of the slip on the promises made by Prime Minister Modi.Congress vice president was addressing a conference in Patan in Gujarat andPrime Minister Modi criticized the tribal community for their "incompletepromises".
In the 26-minute speech, around 17th minute, Rahulmentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and he was assuring the state ofGujarat.
"He said he will give Rs 40,000 crore to the Adivasi community in thestate but didn't give even a single penny," Rahul said, "There was aflood here a month ago. He said he will Rs 500 crore but again didn't give arupee."
The Gandhi scion's viral remark came after this attack onthe Prime Minister. He said that PM Modi promised farmers that "Aisimachine lagaunga, iss side se aaloo ghusega, uss side se sona niklega."
Rahul, then, explained that these were not his words butPrime Minister Narendra Modi's, before going ahead with his review of othergovernment policies.
